Speaker bio

Mr. Krafsur is the Director for Project Management in the Research and Insights Solution Center within the United States Postal Service (USPS) Office of Inspector General (OIG). He is leading the implementation of an analytics service management practice across the OIG’s three analytics directorates. Previously, as Director of Healthcare and Strategic Operations he led teams focusing on healthcare claimant and provider fraud analytics and related technology issues. His professional interests include the implementation of management approaches to analytics projects, the application of statistical, programmatic, and database technologies to develop enterprise-level fraud detection, data visualization, and reporting.

Prior to joining the USPS OIG, he was a programmer at the American Association for the Advancement of Science, developing tools to support primary and secondary school math and science education reform. He also used to manage a bicycle shop and holds degrees in Economics and History.
